AHHH blog has been stagnant for suchh a long time.

am so busy these days. its like my schedule everyday is packed to the brim.

so tired and sleepy as compared to the previous months where i have so much time to r&r.

school camps, school CIP, tuition, blogshop, work work and more workkkkkkkk. ahhhhh

and school's starting in a month. so not prepared :(
i need more timeeeeeee

anyway fivehotcakes collection 2 would be up hopefully by next week after i get back from my camp! :D

Wheeee I passed my driving last Friday! Hahahah I got a total of 8 points haha. Tester was quite nice. Hahah like a nice old man!
and i think cos i was wearing lucky colour top that day hahah
anw im like brimming with excitement to get my hands on the steering wheel and start driving but mummy is worried her car might be too fast for me :( but after a while she relented and say she would have to be next to me. hahaha YAY

i have been restricting myself from buying any thing these days cos definitely hk is going to be so much cheaper!!!! hahahahah

so i havent been buying anything these days!! yay!!! hahahah cos every time i wanna buy sth i cant bring myself to pay for something that is going to be more expensive.

my boss just told me of this very nice place in hk to eat shao ya. hahaha and my colleague told me this afternoon where to get damn good lao po bing. its like everyone is damn experienced in hk. hahaha

i havent packed my luggage yet but its going to be like 4 days only so i dont really care. hahaha mum says each one bring one luggage so we can lug more things home hahaha

im excited!!! hahaha looking forward to everything except the weather.

half more an hour to end of work! and then i can buy frolick home for dear siblings. monday one for one at serangoon gardens frolick! hahahaha yay its just too good. it would be good if it was yoguru though
yoguru is my fav yogurt store :D hahaha

ahh this post feels like a pile of rubbish. like things you type when youre very bored. hahaha
i am really very bored. hahaha and my boss is like behind me i cant sing along with the radio to entertain myself.

mum brought dinner for me today again! :D i had rice with vege,chicken potato and stingray!! yes stingray! home cooked stingray complete with yummy samba chili!
how good can this get! hahaah sitting in an air con room enjoying stingray while people opppsite at chomp chomp queuing up in this hot weather for their stingray hahahahaha and still got fruits and drinks to go along. my fav Qoo. machiam really eating at hawker centre. hahaah

baked apple crumble, vanilla cupcake and brownie yest! same as usual, only difference was apple crumble was like a cupcake this time! cos we always have trouble cutting the apple crumble into smaller pieces so i decided to make them in cupcakes size so its easier for everyone to eat.

anw i wanna go for cake/cupcake decorating classes! anybody wants to go tgt?? hahaha do yall know where there are such classes? those that are not so pricey. i give up trying to make buttercream that can stay in shape. rather than trying and wasting my materials as well i go spend some money learn once and for all right! hahaha

wooaah 10 mins to end of work. boss feeling sad cos he's missing his 9 o'clock show. hahaha i still prefer my hk dramas! :D

the recent fall caused my lower back to be in pain sometimes when i do certain exercise. like i cant put too much force/weight on my tailbone area or it'll hurt and sometimes when i put my weight to one leg my lower back hurts a little. its so irritating how it doesnt get well fully cos it means i will not be able to do some of the exercises at amore. and if it stays with me for life.. its going to be terrible. its like some ppl say cant afford to fall down or else will have problems in future.
but it should be fine la. hahaha my bones are fit and strong :)

Hello friends. has been long since i blogged so here i am! hahah
have so many things to update you guys about :D

1) WORK

i got a new job at srgn gardens! :D its at a shop called Foxtrot! selling shoes bags and accessories :D working there is really fun. cos most of the time i have nothing to do so i just surf the net, blogshop or watch videos. once in a while when the boss is around i'll just help him with some admin stuff. so yup working there is great! hahah

2) UNI

i accepted smu already. studying social science

3) POTC

met up with nic and jj a while ago to watch pirates!
before the movie had lots of time to spare so we headed over to the arcade to play.
played daytona.
first time i played manual. seriously hahahah only after i learn driving then i unds what the different gears are for. hahah

nic playing his fighting game alone hahahah looks like some small boy who li jia chu zou then come arcade spend time.

they 2 of them managed to break the high score on the 2nd time but somehow it was not recorded. hahahah

after the movie. we went to eat nanxiang steamed buns rst! super yummy :D:D hahahah 2nd fav xlb rst after dtf :) hahaha

4) VICTORIA JOMO

sis and I went for victoria jomo fit all you can! :D

saw it online and registered for it.
purchasing of bags starts at 930 and event starts at 10 but when we reached at 910......

there were like at least 120 girls in front of us! mad crazy. mad kiasu!!
i thought i was kiasu enough already. who knows these girls are even more kiasu!!!

fit all you can actually works like we buy a plastic bag. either 35 bucks (small) or 55 bucks (bigger).
you have 20-30 minutes in the shop to actually grab whatever you want. but have to squeeze everything into the bag. and zip it up.
there are like clutches, tops, bottoms, dresses, lots of vintage pieces, shoes, belts....

we were the 2nd batch to enter. and once i enter, its like a war zone.
damn crowded!
so we headed to the 2nd level first. first time i see sooooo many girls pushing to get the clothes (other than the time at the body shop warehouse sale)
and i admit im guilty of pushing too. and being very selfsh and all.
but seriously under those conditions you dont push cannot get anything one lo!! can get la, ugly ones lo.
so we grabbed and sis packed the clothes into the bag and i continue grabbing.
after the event i actually felt very grossed out by myself cos i felt so greedy and rude :(
i hope no one recognises me. im ashamed :( haha

so when the time is up we managed to fill up bags up to the brim. literally. hahaha
at least we are better than those girls who squeeze till their bags burst.
that will then be the epitome of embarrassment. seriously explode?! hahahhahaha

anw it was raining very heavily that day. what a damper.
and we didnt have umbrellas.
so we practicallly ran thru the rain.
you know haji lane has two sides. so i was under the shelter on one side. and my sis was on the other side. so i ran over and then suddenly BAM! i fell :(

the stupid aircon things was so bloody low. so i didnt see when i was running in and i hit it. and then i hit it so i bounced back so i slipped and fell. so i had double blow.
freaking painful la.

apparently the damn metal thing around the air con unit caused my head to have a hole and a ultra big bump. and then in the night my sis told me there was blood. and my lower back still hurts when i bend down too much.

so means no amore for a few days :/

anyway back to victoria jomo. after i fell i was in pain so we went to sit at some cafe to rest and also to look at our loot!

so here's our loot! we got about 22 pieces of clothings. so $55 + $55 = $110 /22 =$5!!!!

HAHAHAH seriously 5 bucks for one piece of clothing! WOOHOO





after that was supposed to meet the guys for xmen movie but the fall just spoilt all my plans :(

5) FOOD + MUSIC

Met at plaza sing at 1030 for bk breakfast!! love the crossiant!!! absolutely yummy!! hahaah

oh and dear yi'an brought chocolate cheesecake and carrot cake for us to eat! she baked them with her mum :D very yummy! hahah

after that headed over to nex for lunch! went pizza hut!

after a really long lunch, hahaha and a really long breakfast too, hahaha we headed home to sing k! really awesome singing session cos its in the afternoon and they get to sing as loud as they want. hahah

6) shopping with sister
went out shopping with sis yesterday! combed city plaza and haji lane and bugis street.

didnt manage to get anything at city plaza. nothing caught my eye. sis says she's not going back to city plaza again till like 1 year later. hahaha

shops at haji lane were really nice. went to pick up the clothes i bought online and also saw tammy tay at ohsofickle!! hahahahah

i really like her alot!! very pretty, very nice clothes and very nice. hahaha honestly i wanted to like see what she's wearing that day but i scared she notice. so in the end i only managed to catch a few glimpses of her. but she did talk to me!! hahahaha
so haji lane was good. cos i saw tammy! hahaha

after that went kallang to pick up another item.
then headed over to bugis! bought a bag. it was on a 1 for 1 offer so me and sis got a bag each! :D

then we bought vintage dresses at one of the vintage shop in bugis street! they have very nice dresses. super ah ma style. hahahaha i swear i saw a few pieces of dresses with the similar prints as my ah ma's clothes! hahahah
got a red dress while sis got a floral dress!

super addicted to online shopping these days! there was once i bought 7 items in 2 days. hahaha am very guilty of it but still continue buying. got to keep telling myself to stop spending money and save it for hk.
yes i can restrain myself!
am so lazy to get my butt out of the house these days...

has been addicted to fishing joy these days.. zzzz

okay im off the com to get more constructive things done! byee!! :D

Smu's letter of acceptance came in today. And I can say it's a blessing from heaven :) have already decided to go ntu and have no hopes left for Smu but suddenly good news arrived in my letterbox.

I have already set a reminder on my phone to accept ntu's offer Tmr. If this letter came one day late, I would not have this chance. Mum is v happy and fully support Smu. I know I would end up choosing Smu cos it's quite obviously the better choice? But actually deep down im quite sad I have to give up studying at ntu. I am really quite excited to start school and start learning what I'm interested in.

But still I think Smu the choice cos

1) no one I know is going ntu
2) because of 1) can't find roommate
3) traveling distance
4) point 2) is just too disturbing
5) parents want Smu

Even tho i know smu is better and everything but I feel like I'm not willing to give ntu up.

1) I'm prefer ntu's course outline. It gets me very excited. Clinical psychology while Smu more on social psychology.
2) hall life ( that's if I can find a roommate)

Damn I realized my reasons for going Smu are not very substantial. They are like kind of built on small disadvantages but not how it's better for me.
I think cos I've heard quite a bit of negative feedback on how competitive, stressful, difficult Smu is but of course I've heard the benefits of it too. Like how it puts me in a better position after I graduate and stuff.

Ahh nvm shall follow what my parents say :) parents never ever go wrong. Seriously. Hahaha after so many years, I realized Hahah
My mum says she brought me luck cos she went with me to submit my application form LOL

What an incoherent post. Sigh I just hope I don't make the wrong choice. Confused and disturbed.
Last saturday cousins came to stayover cos we were all going for amore together the next day! :D

brought sis and cousin celes for trials! :)

we went for Jazz and it was hilarious as usual.
everyone in the class was dancing damn nicely and i think we just screwed up the dance but we did try la hahaha
super fun but guess we really need to improve on our coordination hahahah

after amore, we went for lunch. some restaurant at CSM that is supposedly v good and cheap acc to grass
and it was really not bad and very economical. hahahah

initial plan was to buy monopoly deal, head over to sentosa, buy yummy popcorn, sit down and play.

but cos we were all kind of paralysed after jazz, the furthest we could make it to was vivo city.
so we head over to Giant, got some drinks and snacks and went to a quiet corner at vivo roof top and played



the weather was quite hot, evidently. haha






played a total of 3 rounds. and couldnt take it anymore cos we were feeling damn warm and our legs felt super suan from the long hours of sitting on the ground.




after that headed over to BK to try the new mini burger


its super small!! hahah when you seperate them into two. dont they look like conjoined twins? joined at the... head, body and legs??

me and sis continued shopping while the rest went their separate ways and this marks the end of our exciting sunday. hahaha

Last wed 11 may :
Met up with Wendy for lunch + shopping. havent seen her in like aggeeessss.
She's very much the same except maybe got a little more atas. hahaha but she's still the blur wendy i know. haha
bought some clothes from f21. thanks to her being late. i was forced to shop around. and when youre at somersat, how to resist shopping there! so she's to be blamed for making me spend money. lunched at this nice cafe. brought my camera along but actually forgot to take photos with her -.- nvm next time.

Last thurs 12 May :

Went out with wei jia and yi'an to get presents for the Ning, jiajin and benz.
Got a small clutch fromWarehouse for ning and Vans shoes for benz and jj.





Last friday 13 May :

Went to cut hair! yes its by the cute hairdresser :D
have been there so many times but never see him before. i think he's new.
and he looks totally like a korean! like damn nice hair, small koreany eyes, nice clothes.. hahah he just looks good la.
and good looking man just makes a damn good salesperson. he ask you to buy hair products how to reject?! hahaha
anyway i left the salon a very happy person. like feeling very good. hahah i rarely feel good after a hair cut cos either my fringe is screwed or im just feeling pissed. hahaha
so yup he totally made my day :D hahah

anyway went shopping with sister at orchard/somersat. ate mos burger for lunch

she got her hair straightener thing. its quite useful i guess. will try using it some day cos my hair at the side of my face tend to curl. and when it curls, it curls very weirdly. its not like a nice curl but a ugly bend.

in the night went to eat manhattan fish market with the family. we all love it cos we love the seafood platter :D

last saturday 14 May :

the day of the flea! wtf at scape! :D
was feeling very excited about it cos i signed up for it like 1 month plus ago. so it was quite a long wait. the night before the flea. was busy packing all the clothes into boxes to be brought there. didnt expect to have to do so much preparation but actually we got to take lots of factors into account and at the end of the packing. i felt like we packed too much. hahaha like too many bags of things.

on the day of the flea. we were still packing. hahaha dad sent us down to scape and we were lucky we got stall number 1 cos it was just next to the carpark entrance so unloading and loading was v easy. and since we were stall no 1, we had lots of space next to us. and so we managed to get lots of fresh air. hahaha and dad helped us check the feng shui of the stall and he said the stall was in a good direction and that business would be good.


and yup business was really quite good. hahahaha. lots of girls came to look at our stall. i think cos our clothes quite nice. HAHAHA. and we were selling it damn cheap. price range from 5 to 15 bucks. like some brand new dresses going at like 10 bucks. sold away many of my f21 clothes too. brand new f21 clothes at 10 bucks! where to find!! hahaha and got nice and cheap bags and shoes also.

mum helped us with our money box. im so glad she was there or everything would be in a mess. wore my dr martens there and my feet hurt like shit. hahaha business was brisk and i think the owners of the other clothes shop opposite was kind of pissed. HAHA

brother came down after his db training and helped too. helped us to get drinks/food and helped us put the clothes into the plastic bags. haha. stall next to us selling Toms inspired shoes. and their business was damn good. i think they rent the stall every single week. not bad la people come buy their shoes shun bian see our clothes also. hahah

at about 7 decided to close the stall soon so we slashed all our prices. there was this girl who wanted to buy this f21 top. it was originally 10 bucks then i became 8 bucks and she was like: 5 bucks can?? WL siao so cheap where can. new one leh. 5 bucks?! opposite selling some damn ugly tee shirt for 5 bucks la! so yup i rejected her. hahaha

sold 60 pieces of items all tgt. managed to sell all our bags except 1 and all the shoes except 2 pairs. earned in total 500 plus. its not our profit but just how much we earned cos we dont know our cost price. but since we are not going to wear these clothes anymore. its good riddance and we still get money :D

mom and dad are both v happy. hahaha. and they are like super supportive. mom suggested doing it again and dad suggested bringing in clothes from overseas. hahah love them.

anyway it was a really good experience and i would definitely do it again when i have enough clothes i dont want. it was really fun but tiring at the same time.

Last Sunday 15 May :

Yi'an and wei Jia came over to bake for the birthday celebration in the night. We decided to bake vanilla cupcakes! Finally found a receipe where the cupcakes taste v yummy. It was kindof a mad rush cos we baked two batches and made icing. After that we headed over to vivo city for dinner! Ate at serenity restaurant. Remember I went there for bday celebration like 3 years ago? Food menu seemed to have changed quite a bit. All of us ordered paellas. Me and wei Jia shared squid ink paella and it was really yummy. (photos are all in Benz camera so can't upload any till I get it from him :) )

After dinner sat around to chat for a while. It's nice hearing everyone share stories about themselves and how they've been. After that decided to walk around. Went on the travelators leading to sentosa. Scenery was really nice. Found a nice corner and sat down in a circle to chat. Such a nice feeling being able to see and talk to all of them :)

Monday 16 May :

Watched ff5! Its really quite nice and exciting. Hahah. Definitely worth the money! Actually I have never Watched any of the ff movies before. So the next day I went to buy the DVDs of ff1 to ff4. Hahaha.

Friday 20 May :

Had mock driving test. And I did terribly. I had 34 points ( yes 20 and below to pass) and 1 immediate failure. I guess you can see how terrible a driver I am from my points. Hahah I think my instructor was utterly disappointed with me. Ahhh the real test in 2 weeks. Damn scared I'll fail. Anyway after driving I went over to my village at srgn gardens to chill. Alone. Hahah cos I'm too depressed abt my driving.

Anyway I have been wanting to like do this for a long time. Sit at coffee bean ( outdoor seats at coffee bean at village is freaking comfortable and relaxing) with a good book, a drink and a cheesecake. Woah this is life man. Hahaha. The feel of having so much time on your hands. Can just sit and relax for as long as I want. So I sat at coffee bean for like 3 hours Hahahaha
Am I cutout to be a tai tai??? Hahahahaha yes right!! just that taitais don't go for high tea alone.

Parents and bro all overseas now. It's really quite boring at home. When they are at home I could still play monopoly deal with them. was so bored that there was one day I just spent my whole afternoon playing mahjong on my phone. It's really quite addictive. Hahah.

there's a small retail shop at srgn gardens hiring. im considering taking up the job cos i ♥ $$ and i have always wanted to work in a small shop but i hope the working hours can be really flexible.
