HI friends! im back with photos of the cupcakes i made yest! its vanilla cupcakes! :Dlooks nice right! :B hahaha
and since it was mother's day yest, i decided to go with the pink theme. dunno why but somehow mothers=girls(or rather women)=girly=pink
and so i made some buttercream! and blended it with fruit of forst jam! and tadaa! i get pink buttercream.
vanilla cupcakes topped with pink buttercream + rainbow sprinkle bits + strawberries!
looks nice? :D
actually when i was doing it looked like shit. i swear. when you look closely, it actually looks terrible. hahah
the stupid buttercream kept melting and couldnt stay in its fixed position. i used like half a roll of kitchen towels to like keep the buttercream in place. it was like hell. i spent like 3+ hours in total on these cupcakes.

but i guess they took many years of practice before they succedded so yup im not going to give up. hahah my ah ma is super supportive of me haha she says if i keep doing they will get prettier :)
just check out the swirl on the cupcake! so nice!!
actually i didnt want it to turn out like this. its like 天渊之别 from the initial image i had in my mind. but yah i will keep trying. haha to make buttercream that doesnt melt that easily.
i will not resort to using fondant all the time hahah its really the easy way out. so yup gotta make more buttercream.

and i shall blame it on the butter and the buttercream receipe. hahahah
